Whyteleafe's reserve team play in the Premier Division of
the Suburban Football League. Managed by Roger Hoyte, the 2007-08 season was a particularly challenging one for the side with many key players leaving at short notice.
The brave and ultimately successful solution was to promote a healthy number of the very competitive under 18's Youth team: a move which saw a similar number of under 17's promoted into the Youth team.
Ably assisted by former Whyteleafe playing star and Player of the Year, Billy Paterson, Roger can look confidently to another challenging year with team that has learnt a great deal in the last 12 months.
