Support Orpheus on Saturday at Church Road

At Saturday’s home game v Haywards Heath (November 10th) the club will be supporting the work of Orpheus, its chosen charity. Members of staff and students will be raising money and awareness of the charity’s work.

The Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college in Godstone which focuses on maximising independence skills for young disabled adults through the performing arts. We believe that every young disabled person should have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers and we offer a personalised study programme focusing on building independence, communication and social interaction skills through the arts, supported housing and a personal care service.

Our students are between the ages of 18 and 25 and have learning and/or physical disabilities. They stay at Orpheus for up to three years. Everything at Orpheus is focused on maximising lasting independence for our students.

To find out more please visit our website at www.orpheus.org.uk or contact us at fundraising@orpheus.org.ukor 01883 744664.

Last summer Orpheus held their first ever Orpheus World Cup at Whyteleafe FC which raised funds for the new outdoor gym and multi-use games area at Orpheus which will be built in Spring 2019. We are looking forward to returning next summer for another tournament! If you’d like to enter a team, please contact fundraising@orpheus.org.uk.
