Whyteleafe FC supports Orpheus
For severeal years now we have been keen supporters of the Orpheus charity, with a pitchside board, the name on our shirts and colection tins in the bar.
Orpheus provides supported housing and a diverse curriculum of performing arts, independence, functional and life skills to over 40 young disabled adults every year. It has 27 tenants currently living in supported housing in Godstone and 20 students accessing a learning programme on a full or part-time basis, with more students nationwide taking part in its short courses.
Some students periodically come to watch matches at Church Road and three came along on Saturday, not only to watch the Leafe match, but also to pick up a donation of over £500 raised by a match organised by Whyteleafe U10s and U14 Lions manager Simon George.
The donation was presented to the students before the match on Saturday.
If you would like to get involved in raising some money for this brilliant charity, here are two ways you can get involved:
If you're up to either (or both!) of these challenges then please contact Clive Davis in the club office or ring 020 8660 5491 for more information.
