Preview | Thamesmead Town v Whyteleafe

Whyteleafe FC begin 2018 on the road as they travel to Princes Park to take on Thamesmead Town in the Bostik South Division on Saturday (kick-off: 3pm)

Whyteleafe had a very strong Christmas period taking six points from three games with the fourth game against Molesey FC on New Years Day being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The Christmas schedule started with defeat away at South Park losing 3-0. John Scarborough and Paul Dales men turned things around by beating rivals Chipstead 2-1 at Church Road with Scott Day coming off the bench to bag himself a brace. Sittingbourne FC travelled to Church Road four days later and were beaten again by the same scoreline with goals from Tommy Hutchings and Scott Day for Whyteleafe.

Thamesmead Town had a very quiet Christmas period only playing two games and claiming six points from six beating Horsham FC 4-3 and Molesey 3-0. Both teams go into Saturdays game with a simliar run of form. Whyteleafe have no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Princes Park.

Admission prices to Princes Park - Adults: £10, Concessions £5, Students £3.

All supporters are requested to enter the ground through Turnstiles 2 and 3 which are situated at the opposite end of the ground to the main car park. The only available bar area bar area prior to the game will be Champions Bar which you will pass en-route to the turnstiles. There will be the usual refreshments available inside the ground but no alchol will be served. At half time a gate will be opened to allow access to Champions Bar - this gate will remain open until approximately 10 minutes into the second half.
